One minute all were happily walking together and the next, Ginny  had disappeared .

Stepping perilously close to the edge of the cliff, she was spotted in a tiny rocky outcrop overhanging the lake , barely wide enough to take her little body but miraculously, had saved her from a fall to her death .

The Emergency Services were called to the scene to work out how best to get to Ginny, she meanwhile, clung on for three hours . Eventually , one of the rescuers abseiled down the cliff to grab Ginny and bring her back to safety where the rather subdued dog was declared non the worse for the adventure .
